  3. Lexi, I think that a letter was the perfect way to present. You presentation showed how strong you are and how your life has changed to adapt to what you have experienced. You did a great job.

  7. Lexie, I respect you so much for letting us all into your closest part of your heart, I could tell this wasn't easy for you and you are very strong and have a lot of heart. Thank you for telling us your true self, not a fake easy project.

  8. You're so brave to talk about all of this, and it impacted me a lot. I really appreciate the fact that you can talk about this, and I'm happy that you could share your loss with the class. The fact you changed for the better is really good, and you've become so strong!
I really liked how you wrote this into a letter to your sister, and then moved into what you've done at Arapahoe. Your last lecture was really good, and I loved it! I hope you have a great future, stay strong girl, and I love how your dreams are so big, but for yourself not for money. I really love it. Great job!

  9. I really liked that you wrote a note to your sister. I thought it was really impacting and touching. I could really see that she changed your life a lot. I loved your line about "a house that didn't know you". I thought your letter was really beautiful and it taught me a lot about who you are. I really liked that you talked about how you became your own person, not just a "girl with a sick sister". I thought all the pictures brought a lot to your lecture. I really liked it!

  10. I love your idea of writing a letter. It really plays on the real reason Pausch wrote his lecture; it was to his kids. It was amazing to learn everything that we had never seen. I loved your slideshow, how it slowly shifted from childhood, to high school and then to beautiful portrait pictures of exotic places.

  11. I think your presentation was original and great. It showed your struggles that you have had to deal with and how it has made you a stronger person. Your presentation was very moving and really good. It captured every student in here and moved me. It got me thinking about my life and struggles and how they have made me a better person to. You had a great lecture. Good Job!

  12. Lexie-
That is all such a sad thing and that was brave to put it all out on the ground like that. You left it out there like bread crumbs and we like birds picked it up and ate every bit of it. It was like a good meal that we felt that we had to eat. You just made it so appetizing. But enjoy the life that we are given and learn to live the life even through the pain and the death that we have. We all have someone we can't bear to lose and that is the one thing that makes us human and don't forget Lexie. The world will keep spinning even if the strings are cut until the world comes crashing down and shatters around us. So cry the tears that you have and never forget that its not our outer strength that makes us strong. Its the inner tears that make us strong and the more we let them out the stronger we get. Have a great summer and life and remember to just enjoy what you have.

  15. I thought that you had a really good idea with the letter and you did a good job of still looking at the audience. It felt like you were reading pretty fast but other than that it was a great presentation!

  16. Lexi, in you there is strength. I am glad to have sat by you in a couple classes, since you are that girl that people know just by sitting by. Please remain the same, and change, but never loose sight of what makes you so unique. You truly are.

  18. Great presentation, your story of moving and starting a new life is memorable. Your point of just being that one girl who is in the halls or in the class is wonderful, now you'll be remembered as the girl with a story.

  19. I loved this presentation. Like alex said, it takes a lot of guts to get up there and talk about what you did. You were awesome and your pictures were really cool, i liked the concept of the letter instead of a lecture. it was a great presentation and you have an awesome life to look forward to.
